Life-affirming Carl Gustav showing us that there is more to “I” than meets the eye.
At current evaluation, I’m a Jungian INTJ
Intuitive 12% more of a swing from Sensing: Introvert 9%more of a swing from Extrovert: Thinking 10% more of a swing from Feeling: Judging 7% more of a swing from Perceiving. Although Carl Gustav would probably have said a person doesn’t easily swing. Tell that to the polyamory crowd Carl!
Philosophically speaking, I would be a paid up member of the Rational Idealists. Although Material Realists have had the better tables at restaurants.
So how are we?
By some quantum fluctuation some 13.7 billion years ago plus or minus a few hundred thousand years; we all came to be here. That the earth came to be what it is, and we came to be what we are; was a trillion times a trillions time to the power of another very large number. With those figures the subjective misery of one person through periods of their life is not only dismissed but discounted in cosmic terms.
Many wonder about the ‘ Big Bang ‘ (not speaking about polyamory again) but the exponential fusion of hydrogen atoms at the dawn of time.
What came before this initial singularity is far more fascinating I feel. One could lie awake some nights thinking about it.
Cue an interlude with Mr Simon.
An individual who is still with us is Prof. Chomsky. I say still as someone once whispered at a conference “what will we do when he is gone”.
Here is intellectual asymmetry as Chomsky shares the same space with Irish anchor Dobbo.
Infinitely less inspiring speaker is the self promoting atheist Dawkins. How solemn both he and his followers are. Not one person in this video clip could suggest that the loud bang disturbance when Dawkins was speaking, could have been God with a hammer.

So many humourless folk in one place at the same time. What are the odds ?
I’ll leave you with this conundrum
